Cosy Views Burntisland Family Holiday Home in Fife

We’d love to welcome you to our lovely home by the sea, with beautiful views both front and back of the house. Burntisland is a perfect location for a coastal retreat, countryside walks, city excursions - it is all accessible from here.

This is an ideal location for visiting Edinburgh, St Andrews and so much more of Scotland, both north and south. The train station is 20mins walk away and it is around 35mins to Edinburgh (currently costs just £10.80 for an adult day return). St Andrews can also be reached by train/bus connection. The high street, with shops and cafes, is just a 15min walk away.  Parking is free throughout the town.

Burntisland is a wonderful community town with independent shops down the high street including a butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers, ice cream/dessert shop, hardware shop, gift shops, bakery and charity shops. The Beacon Leisure Centre has a great value and fun family swimming pool (pools, two flumes and waves), health centre and gym and is only 20mins walk/5mins drive at the seafront. Burntisland Golf Course, the 10th oldest in the world, is open to visitors.  There is a Coop on the high street and a Key Stores convenience store a few minutes walk away for your essential needs.

One of highlights of this area though is the beautiful sandy beach, just 5 minutes walk away.  It has great rockpools to find beautiful shells, starfish, jellyfish and crabs - a perfect trip out for a walk or to play and explore with kids throughout all seasons (making sure you dress appropriately!).
